We are looking for a Community Education Coordinator to join our team at the British Red Cross. You will be managing the allocation of resources and volunteers in the area to increase the British Red Cross geographical footprint and capacity within communities. Reporting to the Community Education Manager, you will manage community external partnerships and relationships, and support the implementation of partnerships and externally funded projects. You will also have accountabilities for all aspects of the Community Education blended learning offer for your area and will ensure the education delivery is consistent and at the appropriate quality standard This is a great opportunity to make a real impact, through facilitated learning to adults and young people. You will be helping us better equip thousands of people to cope and take action in the event of a crisis.
Please note that some flexibility will be required to work occasional evenings and weekends as required.

This role might be for you if:
- You have got a recognised education, training or facilitation qualification (or equivalent by experience) and excellent coaching and motivational skills;
- You have excellent rapport building skills and experience in community development;
- You have got experience of recruiting, managing, and supporting volunteers;
- You have got experience of facilitated learning and adapting nationally approved learning content to meet user needs;
- You have experience dealing with vulnerable individuals and groups.
