Palladium recruits an Associate, Project Delivery, Health Policy Plus (HP+)

 Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support Palladium’s Health Policy Plus project, part of the Health Practice, in a variety of contractual, financial, operational, and administrative logistical tasks
  • Learn and contribute to training of project staff on company policies, SOPs and Guidelines and client rules and regulations (covering for example: security, occupational health and safety, risk management, planning, human resource management, monitoring, reporting, finance, procurement, logistics, IT, communications, audit support and all other such implementation matters)
  • Ensure project issues and risks are logged, monitored, and updated in the issues and risk portal (aka register) and escalate risks and issues to corporate/project leadership, as required
  • Support data entry of corporate consultant database and data entry;
  • Coordinate project staff recruitment and due diligence (i.e., posting job descriptions, due diligence, compliance spot checks, biodata verification, record retention, and contract preparation and onboarding)
  • Assist with internal PMU administration, including drafting weekly meeting agendas, tracking tasks, maintaining calendars and deadline reminders
  • Manage and supports contract amendments as required
  • Help coordinate service providers and processes work orders and invoices
  • Assist with project financial and cash-flow planning, processes monthly Funds Transfer Requests (FTRs) and payments for assigned projects
  • Review cashbooks / field vouchers for charge code and general ledger code accuracy and ensure supporting documentation is complete;
  • Resolve cashbook / field voucher troubleshooting issues with other Project Delivery staff
  • Upload 40+ Excel-based cashbooks / field vouchers into Palladium’s Costpoint accounting system on a monthly basis over the course of a 2 to 5-day period of time
  • Save all cashbook / field voucher supporting documentation to corporate shared directory
  • Manage cashbook / field voucher tracker by country for daily status update communication during month-end financial close period

Required Qualifications:

  • Relevant work experience preferred, or relevant internships preferred, or bachelors or master’s degree education preferred
  • Flexible, and able to handle multiple tasks and work collaboratively with others
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced organization by prioritizing and managing multiple priorities. Strong attention to detail and follow-through required
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of internal and external clients
  • Able to work remotely effectively with minimal supervision
  • Fluency and excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Strong computer skills in Power Point, Word, and Excel
  • International field experience in developing country setting (such as Peace Corps service or equivalent) preferred
  • French language proficiency
