GPOI Construction Manager Training Facilities
Context :
PAE is looking for a Project Manager with a Civil Engineering degree or equivalent degree to manage construction projects in Rwanda/Chad/Uganda/Ethiopia/Malawi/Ivory Coast(Côte d’Ivoire). These projects will be oriented on building military training facilities for the countries above. The Project Manager will manage the projects and supervise assigned personnel.
The Project Manager will be PAE’s permanent on-site representative and primary point of contact (POC) for all TO-related aspects. The Project Manager will liaise with the program manager (PM) daily for any binding aspects related to TO execution. He will manage the procurement of supplies, materials, and equipment, manage all the day-to-day activities on-site, be responsible for implementation and oversight of the QC Plan and ensure corrective actions are implemented as required, coordinate security related issues with the host nation and the U.S. Embassy, oversee and manage all subcontractor representatives on-site, be responsible for overall construction activities to include on-site safety, prepare supporting documentation for the PM for weekly sitreps to include the updated MS schedule, ensure GFE reports are updated and submitted to the PMO, liaise with PMO logistics for ground transportation convoys of equipment and material, and maintain safety and discipline of all PAE direct hire and subcontractor employees. This position will supervise projects in Rwanda/Chad/Uganda/Ethiopia/Malawi/Ivory Coast(Côte d’Ivoire).
Required Skills :
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent ;
- Four (4) years of experience managing vertical engineering construction projects ;
- Valid Engineering License ;
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently ;
- Registered within the Social Security System.
