TOTAL recuits a Finance Manager M/F

Job Description

• Management and development of the local finance team
• Ensure timely and accurate financial information reporting and analysis to business in the periodical reporting cycle
• Business partnering to review the performance of the different business activities on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Strategic Finance business partner to Regional VPs and local VPs/Business managers in driving  both TOAP’s and TSSS Long term plan, budget and analytical reports of key financial performance indicators
• Responsible for ensuring rigorous financial control including to establishes and lead the regular reviews of financial schedules, account reconciliations, fixed asset management, AP processes, integrity of the allocation cycles
• Ensure optimization of treasury management functions (FX risks, hedging, cash-flow, financing plan)
• Full management of TOAP, TOPHK, LVHL and Total Singapore Shared Service statutory audits with KPMG & E&Y and declaration of dividend payment
• Responsible for ensuring tax computation and compliance such as deferred taxation, corporate income tax, GST reporting and withholding tax
• Main contact/liaison for internal business partners, auditors, tax agents, tax authorities and other government agencies and banking partners
• Monitoring and establishing reporting for IFRS16 including awareness to non-finance stakeholders, optimizing the financial impact on the organization
• Optimization, establish due diligence and service excellency of the P2P processes.
• Responsible for ensuring good credit management for both external and group customers
• Optimization of fixed asset management and processes
• Finance support activities for non-MSAP entities (TGITS, Global Automotive, Crayvalley, Global Lubricants etc) including SLA review and relevancy of the basis of allocation keys
• Provide support and advice to business divisions on all finance related matters
• Responsible to ensure the review of current financial system and processes with a focus of improving efficiency within the finance organization
• Finance representative in Singapore Lub Park operational committee
• Implementation and maintenance of financial policies, controls and procedures to ensure compliance with Group rules
• Monitor SSC production performance through service level agreement compliance monitoring as well as active escalation, establishing reporting schedules and identifying non-compliance/breakdown in finance workflows
• Participate in ad-hoc projects/ assignments

Candidate profile

• CPA/ CA/ ACCA with at least 10 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in a managerial role
• Good knowledge of IFRS/local accounting requirements, consolidation, tax rules and regulations
• Very good analytical skills and problem-solving personality to support continuous improvement initiatives
• Business and Result Oriented Approach
• Proactive in nature with good leadership skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to interact with people from all levels and cultural backgrounds
