5 scholarships that are offered by the Singapore government for international students.
- Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA): This scholarship is jointly offered by the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), the National University of Singapore (NUS), the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), and the Singapore Management University (SMU). It covers tuition fees, a monthly stipend, and other allowances for international students pursuing a Ph.D. degree in science, engineering, and technology in Singapore.
- President’s Graduate Fellowship (PGF): This scholarship is offered by the National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Nanyang Technological University (NTU). It is open to international students who wish to pursue a Ph.D. degree in any field of study offered by the two universities.
- Monbukagakusho Research Scholarship (MEXT): This scholarship is offered by the Japanese government and is open to international students who wish to pursue research-based graduate studies in Japan. Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents are also eligible to apply for this scholarship.
- Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition Scholarships: This scholarships was offered by LKY-SMILE (Singapore Management University Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship) in association with LKY school of Public Policy
- ISCA-ICAI International Scholarships: This scholarship is offered by the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). It is open to international students who wish to pursue a degree in accountancy in Singapore.
