The Government of the Republic of South Sudan (GRSS) has received a Grant from the African Development Bank towards the cost of the Strategic Water Supply and Sanitation Improvement Project (SWSSIP), and intends to apply part of the agreed amount of this Grant for payments under the contract for Consultancy services for feasibility studies and detailed, engineering designs for improvement and expansion of water supply system and distribution network at Renk County Council.

The services under the project include the following: (i) Reviews and Baseline Studies; (ii) Water Resources Assessment; (iii) Feasibility Studies and Pre-design Phase; and (iv) Detailed Engineering Designs.

The South Sudan Urban Water Corporation now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may constitute joint ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.

Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s Procurement Policy for Bank Group Funded Operations, dated October 2017, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.

Expressions of interest must be delivered to the address below by 3:00 pm local time on Tuesday 28th July 2020 in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Consultancy for Feasibility Studies and Detailed Engineering Designs for Improving the Water Supply system in Renk Town”
