TERMS OF REFERENCE

Under the supervision of the Chief of Staff, Executive Office, the intern will:

• Work with subject area specialists across ITU to identify the most appropriate source systems, as well as the most appropriate data points to answer key management requirements.
• Be able to tell a story based on analyzing different sources of data coming from within or outside the organization.
• Draft an inventory of the key data sources, system connection information and data definitions (Data Dictionary).
• Be able to build an initial prototype data model and visualizations in Power BI.

COMPETENCIES

• Working knowledge of Power BI, specifically relational data modelling.
• Ability to tell a story based on analyzing different sources of data.

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED

Education: University degree in data science, IT/engineering, computer science, economics, statistics or related field.

Experience: No work experience required.

Languages: Fluency in English.
