Responsibilities

▪ Preparing the Master Budget for the Organization and the budget for each project according to the activities approved by the programs department in coordination between all departments .

▪ Budgeting of accounting programs according to Category plus detail by line.
▪ Follow up expenses in accordance with plans approved by the Program Department according to the budget approved by the Donor.
▪ Ensure the accuracy of the documents submitted by the accounting department for any procurement process or employees according as for budget and provide the necessary advice in the event of any error
▪ Facilitating all transactions and operations related to banking.
▪ Preparing financial reports on excel.
▪ Export all financial reports from the accounting program required by each donor.
▪ Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for submission to donor on or before the deadlines as needed.
▪ Communicate with external accountants on tax, social security and payroll related issues.
▪ Managing records and receipts.
▪ Reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions
▪ Reporting to a Finance manager and supporting the finance and accounting teams.
▪ Reviewing purchases transaction before to payment to suppliers from start to finish it to be ready to auditable according to the grantor’s policy and the internal policy of the organization.

Qualifications :

▪ A degree in finance, accounting or a related field. A relevant professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or CPA is also highly desirable.

▪ Three Years of experience in financial management, budgeting and forecasting, and grants management.

▪ Should strong analytical skills and be able to interpret financial data to make informed decisions.

▪ Should be detail-oriented to ensure that financial records are accurate and all financial reporting requirements are met.

▪ Should be able to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

▪ The finance officer should be proficient in financial software and accounting (Quickbooks online) packages, as well as Microsoft Excel and other relevant software programs.
