CONTEXTE :
HI is engaged in supporting the Ukrainian population affected by the war: since February 28, two teams left for Ukraine and the neighboring countries to analyze the context, the security, and the needs.
To date, HI continues the implementation of its program in two countries, Ukraine and Moldova, with more than 20 expatriates and more than 50 employees recruited on the spot.
More than any other, HI ensures that humanitarian actions are inclusive, allowing the most vulnerable populations (people with disabilities, elderly, sick, injured) to have access to the help they need. With a focus on physical rehabilitation, psychosocial support, shelter, access to food, water, and sanitation, explosive remnants of war risk education, and advocacy.
With its Atlas Logistics Unit, HI also ensures the delivery of humanitarian aid in hard-to-reach areas in the East for all NGOs in need thanks to its shared transport and storage activities. For more information, visit our website HERE
In response to critical health needs exacerbated by damage to health infrastructure, movement bans due to ongoing conflict, and targeting health facilities in certain areas, HI aims to improve access to quality physical rehabilitation and mental health and psychosocial services (MHPSS for conflict-affected vulnerable populations ( including the injured) while strengthening the capacity of existing health structures.
Your mission will be in several cities: Dnipro, Vinnytsia , Chernivtsi and Lviv
DESCRIPTION:
Under the responsibility of the Hospital Project Manager, as Rehabilitation Technical Officer you contribute to the implementation of Humanity & Inclusion’s mandate and 10-year strategy in your home country. You contribute to the implementation of projects by providing technical expertise and ensuring that the quality and impact of the project(s) concerned is optimised. You work closely with the programme’s technical team.
For this framework your main duties are :
– Provide guidance and technical support to projects in accordance with the overall technical frameworks and standards within the rehabilitation sector
– Provide technical learning from projects
– Contribute to the animation of the rehabilitation sector
– Contribute to ensuring HI’s technical in?uence within its perimeter
PROFILE:
You’re welcome for this position if you meet the following requirements:
– Degree in physiotherapy or occupational therapy
– Experience in traumatology and/or burn
– Exemplary experiences At least 2 years in emergency humanitarian settings
– Experience in hospital rehab and community-based rehabilitation
Skills and abilities :
– You have good communication skills in english;
– You have strong interpersonal and intercultural skills;
– You are flexible and reactive.
