Purpose of consultancy

To support WHO in Ukraine with an emerging demand to highlight activities of donors projects in the frame of the Russian Federation’s invasion of Ukraine and other programmatic areas by preparing visibility products such as press-releases, social media items, video and photo stories, stickers and banners; as well as to organize and conduct a series of visibility events in line with visibility strategies of donors.

Education qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or related field;
  • Completed trainings in communications, marketing, journalism, or related fields.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in communications, journalism or related field;
  • Working experience of project management of high-level events ;
  • Working experience of managing media, and social media channels.

Desirable 

  • Experience of conducting joint projects with stakeholders and different partners.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Communication expertise, including good knowledge of various communications tools;
  • Strong project management competencies which enable to manage various tasks and several projects with the WHO team and partners;
  • Ability to adapt, develop, produce and disseminate basic communication products such as press-releases, social items, news;
  • Ability to organize visibility events with partners and donors, aligning all messages and preparation activities.

Language skills

  • Excellent knowledge of Ukrainian and English languages (oral and written);
  • Advanced knowledge of Russian.
